Our Accumulator for this week’s TV Picks

Everton vs Burnley

Monday, 8pm – Sky Sports Main Event

Everton have made a progressive start under Rafa Benitez, which is certainly a surprise. We’ve seen some good stuff from their front four, making their clash with Burnley Monday’s standout fixture.

The Clarets are bringing little to the party themselves, having lost nine of their last 12 Premier League matches. With Everton playing well, we’re backing the Toffees to pull off a win.

Betting tip: Everton to win

Barcelona vs Bayern Munich

Tuesday, 8pm – BT Sport 3

The highlight of the opening night’s Champions League action comes from the Camp Nou, where Barcelona will face their biggest test since losing Lionel Messi. Bayern Munich visit in fantastic form and we can see them putting on a show.

Barca have been in solid form but they’ll struggle to match Bayern right now. The visitors have won their last five games, scoring 27 times in the process. A 4-1 win away to RB Leipzig at the weekend points to Bayern having too much for this weakened Barca outfit.

Betting tip: Bayern to win

Liverpool vs AC Milan

Wednesday, 8pm – BT Sport 2

This repeat of the 2005 and 2007 finals comes thanks to Milan’s Serie A rise last term, securing a long awaited return to Europe’s top table. The Rossoneri were a thrilling watch along the way and they scored five goals across their opening two Serie A games this term to prove that.

Liverpool could struggle to handle a Milan side with plenty of European experience in their side. The likes of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are capable of magic, so back both teams to score at Anfield with Liverpool scoring in every game so far.

Betting tip: BTTS

Leicester vs Napoli

Thursday, 8pm – BT Sport 2

The clear standout in a busy night of Europa League and Europa Conference action comes from the King Power. Leicester are the Premier League’s best prospect in this competition, but Napoli’s great start has us siding with them.

Napoli continue their perfect start by coming from behind to beat Juventus 2-1 at the weekend. The Partenopei are looking strong while Leicester have lost two of their last three, making the visitors to avoid defeat my selection here.

Betting tip: Napoli Double Chance

Newcastle vs Leeds

Friday, 8pm – Sky Sports Main Event

The Premier League weekend picks up where the European action left off, with Friday night’s clash at St James’ Park looking entertaining. Leeds have been just as thrilling as they were last term and their progressive style should get the better of a struggling Newcastle side.

The hosts have conceded 12 goals across their opening four games, losing three. Meanwhile, Leeds won four of their final five trips last term and we’re backing them to secure the points on Tyneside.

Betting tip: Leeds to win

Cologne vs RB Leipzig

Saturday, 5:30pm – Sky Sports Football

Saturday is fairly light on big clashes which has us looking to the Bundesliga for the pick of the day. There’s huge pressure on the visitors coming here, as they’ve lost their last two league clashes against Wolfsburg and Bayern.

Cologne isn’t an easy place for them to visit either, with the hosts in fine scoring form. They’ve seen both teams score in all four league games this term. With Leipzig keeping one clean sheet in four I’m confident in goals in this one.

Betting tip: BTTS

Tottenham vs Chelsea

Sunday, 4:30pm – Sky Sports Main Event

Just as Tottenham started to look reliable, they went full Spurs. Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace wasn’t just a thumping defeat, it was also a miserable afternoon for Harry Kane who doesn’t seem to fit in Nuno’s plans. If only there was some way for them to cash in on him in the summer.

Chelsea weren’t impressive against Aston Villa but they still won 3-0. Thomas Tuchel’s side are a well-oiled machine with everything now working around Romelu Lukaku. The Blues have looked great in big games under their German boss so expect this to be no different.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win
