Barrow draw no bet looks an appealing selection at 7/4 in Tuesday’s EFL Cup tie at home to Preston. Barrow reached the third round last season, beating Port Vale 3-2 before a penalty-shootout win over Championship side Derby. North End narrowly avoided relegation from the Championship last term and have a long trip to QPR this weekend.

To say Sheffield Wednesday are a club in crisis would be an understatement. They have just 15 first-team players, meaning they are going to have to either field the kids or put out much of the same team that faces Leicester on Sunday. Either way, Bolton look a big price at around 3-4 to win in 90 minutes.

There will be a few games where teams experiment in the EFL Cup this week, but that will not be the case in the derby between Chesterfield and Mansfield. The Spireites have waited eight years for a showdown with their arch-rival Stags and should be at the top of their game on Tuesday having lost just three home League Two matches last season.
