Real Betis win or draw double chance
Chelsea have been outright favourites to lift the UEFA Conference League throughout the tournament, but Real Betis may be a tougher nut to crack than many expect.
Los Verdiblancos, who were able to rest key players in their La Liga finale on Friday after securing sixth, have an excellent record against the better teams in the division, losing just two of their ten meetings with the top five and beating Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid. They have two extra days to prepare than Chelsea, who finished their domestic season with a tense top-five showdown at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Isco to score or assist
Isco didn’t make his first start until the 18th round of La Liga action in December, but the Real Betis midfielder has still managed to amass more goals and more assists than anybody else at the club.
He has 12 goals and ten assists to his name in all competitions, averaging a goal contribution every 102 minutes. He assisted the club’s final goal of the La Liga season to make it seven goal contributions in his last nine competitive appearances, and he could make all the difference in Wroclaw.
Cole Palmer to have 1+ shot on target
Cole Palmer’s excellent first season at Chelsea was followed by a similarly impressive start to 2024/25, and while his form has suffered a major drop-off in the second half of the campaign, he remains Blues’ most dangerous player.
He leads the way for shots (135) and shots on target (48) for the club and has had at least one shot on target in eight of his last nine appearances and has tested the opposition goalkeeper in three of his last four UEFA Conference League outings.
Moises Caicedo to be shown a card
Moises Caicedo has picked up a Chelsea-high 13 yellow cards in all competitions this season and has committed 20 more fouls than the second-most-frequent fouler in Enzo Maresca’s squad.
His latest caution came against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, which made it three cards in his last seven games and nine since the start of 2025, while Real Betis are the most-fouled team in the UEFA Conference League with 181 fouls drawn.
