The climax of the EFL play-offs begins on Saturday as Sheffield United and Sunderland lock horns at Wembley to decide the final Premier League team for the 2025/26 season.
A late dip in form took the Blades out of the hunt for automatic promotion, but they head to the capital as favourites against fourth-place finishers Sunderland.
With Saturday’s Wembley showdown the highlight on Saturday, I’ve put together this 19/2 Bet Builder for the tie. Paddy Power customers can add it to their betslip in a single click below, while those without an account can take advantage of their sign-up offer to get £50 in free Bet Builder bets!

Sheffield United to lift the cup
Sheffield United blew Bristol City away in the semi-finals, thrashing the sixth-place finishers 6-0 on aggregate, and they will carry that confidence into Saturday’s game against a Sunderland side that have lost three of their last four meetings with the Blades.
The Black Cats scraped through their semi-final tie, generating fewer expected goals than Coventry in both ties and losing the shot count, too. They ended the regular season with five defeats on the spin, and I can see Chris Wilder’s side having too much for the north easterners.
Gustavo Hamer to score or assist
Gustavo Hamer scored his tenth goal of the season in the second leg of the semi-final, and the Dutchman can make an impact at Wembley, too.
He has scored or assisted in four of his last six appearances and he has a strong record in the play-offs, scoring a goal in the semi-finals and the final for Coventry City in 2023.
Kieffer Moore to have 1+ shot on target
Kieffer Moore has started four of Sheffield United’s last five games and is expected to lead the line for the Blades again at Wembley.
He has amassed 17 shots across these four matches, scoring in the second leg of the play-off semi-final and registering at least one attempt on target in all four games.
Dennis Cirkin to commit 2+ fouls
Dennis Cirkin (45) has committed more fouls than any other Sunderland player, averaging 1.48 fouls per 90 minutes across the course of the season.
He picked up a yellow card in the first leg of their play-off final against Coventry and committed two fouls in both legs, meaning he has committed two or more fouls in each of his last four starts for the Black Cats.
