Following on from our winner picks for the competition, we settle our focus on the League Phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League following the draw this week.
With each side’s eight League Phase fixtures confirmed, I have put together an 17/1 accumulator for four teams that look a good bet to finish in the top eight.
Back our 17/1 Europa League League Phase acca here
Aston Villa
Aston Villa are outright favourites to win the Europa League, and they should begin that journey with a comfortable top-eight finish.
Unai Emery’s side finished eighth in the Champions League League Phase last season and, despite a difficult start to the season, have plenty of time to find their feet.
Meetings with Red Bull Salzburg, Feyenoord, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Fenerbahce, Young Boys, Basel, Bologna, and Go Ahead Eagles all look winnable, and Emery is the most successful manager in Europa League history.
Porto
Porto could only manage an 18th-place finish in last season’s Europa League League Phase, but the Portuguese side have been afforded a relatively favourable draw and should be able to improve this time around.
A struggling Rangers mark their matchday one fixture, with ties against Red Bull Salzburg, Red Star Belgrade, Viktoria Plzen, Nice, Nottingham Forest, Malmo, and Utrecht following.
Roma
Roma have enjoyed some deep runs in European competition in recent years, winning the first UEFA Conference League and losing the following year’s Europa League final.
New manager Gian Piero Gasperini has European experience for Atalanta, and they have added plenty of talent to their ranks over the summer, including Brighton striker Evan Ferguson on loan.
League Phase fixtures against Lille, Rangers, Viktoria Plzen, Celtic, Midtjylland, Nice, Stuttgart, and Panathinaikos look favourable, and they can improve on last season’s 15th-place finish.
Fenerbahce
It has been a bizarre week to be a Fenerbahce fan, with their Champions League qualifying exit resulting in them parting ways with Jose Mourinho before Kerem Akturkoglu joined the club just days after scoring the goal that eliminated them from the Champions League for Benfica.
But he joins Jhon Duran in a talented Fener front line, and they look overpriced to finish in the top eight. They do face stiff opposition in Aston Villa, Nice, and Stuttgart, but GNK Dinamo, Ferencvaros, Viktoria Plzen, FCSB, and Brann all look beatable.
