Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Pressure is growing on Xabi Alonso following Real Madrid’s 2-0 home defeat to Celta Vigo on Sunday, and the former Bayer Leverkusen boss faces a crunch game on Wednesday.

Real host Manchester City, with the Citizens aiming to bounce back from a 2-0 home defeat to Alonso’s former side in their last European game.

Days after the World Cup draw paired France and Norway, their two superstar strikers meet at the Bernabeu. However, an England international is City’s form man at the minute, and he’s backed to continue his scoring streak in this 114/1 fourfold.

Kylian Mbappe to score anytime

Kylian Mbappe has 25 goals for the campaign across La Liga and the Champions League, and the Frenchman is the clear top scorer in the Champions League with nine goals in five games.

The Frenchman failed to score against Celta Vigo at the weekend, but he went into that clash with seven goals in three appearances, scoring all four goals in Real’s 4-3 victory at Olympiakos in their last Champions League game.

Phil Foden to score anytime

While Mbappe vs Haaland is the focus of their World Cup clash next summer, Wednesday’s encounter is more about Mbappe vs Phil Foden. The City midfielder has been in fantastic form of late, scoring five times across his last three games.

Foden also struck twice in City’s last European win, a 4-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund. The midfielder heads into this clash having scored and assisted against Sunderland on Saturday, so back him to continue his scoring streak on Wednesday.

Jude Bellingham to be carded

While Foden is in scoring form, his compatriot is without a goal in his last four appearances. Bellingham is prone to letting his frustration get the best of him, while he was cautioned in Real’s 2-0 loss at the weekend.

Bellingham was booked when these two sides met earlier this year, while the midfielder was cautioned in Real’s clash with Liverpool last month.

Nico Gonzalez to be carded

Gonzalez has been booked four times for City this term, and the holding midfielder faces a difficult assignment in Madrid.

He was committed two fouls in four of his last five games for City, while he was booked four times in eight Champions League games last season, including City’s visit to the Bernabeu in February.
