Raheem Sterling sent the country into raptures as he glided into the German penalty box to slot home a Luke Shaw cross 15 minutes before the final whistle and then we had an hour to calm down before the second leg of our double kicked off in Glasgow.
Emil Forsberg, fresh from scoring three of Sweden’s four goals this tournament, was the next man of interest to us and the RB Leipzig midfielder certainly didn’t disappoint. He was the most threatening Swedish player throughout and landed our 15/1 goalscorer double just before half-time as he levelled things up for the Swedes, also landing our 3/1 Anytime Goalscorer Best Bet in the process!
His excellent performance wasn’t enough to drag Sweden through to the quarter-finals, but backers of our bets certainly weren’t complaining!

In-play clean sweep for England vs Germany
Our Euro 2020 live blog & in-play betting coverage was also on point yesterday, with Aaron Rogan taking the reins for the biggest game of Euro 2020 so far.
Like England, Aaron lived up to the billing as he landed all three of his in-play tips, starting with Kalvin Phillips to be booked at 9/4 before a half-time tip of Sterling to have two or more shots on target at 5/4 came flying in as he opened the scoring, which also landed a second-half tip of over 0.5 goals at 10/11!
