The Serie A clash between Spezia and Sassuolo was the first game to kick off and midfielder Davide Frattesi got the ball rolling with a goal for the visitors on 27 minutes.

The hosts hit back to take a 2-1 first-half lead, but Andrea Pinamonti’s strike restored parity on 50 minutes and there were no further goals as Spezia and the Neroverdi shared the spoils at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

The Ligue 1 game between Lens and Rennes kicked off at 8pm and there were no goals in the first half. Lens scored twice in the space of four minutes to take a 2-0 lead with 20 minutes remaining, and an injury time consolation strike from Rennes’ Gaetan Laborde ensured our bet was a winner.
