Manchester City vs Newcastle United Bet Builder Tips

Erling Haaland To Score Anytime at 5/6

Manchester City scored on average just over three goals-per-game at home last season and they have scored in all three of their fixtures this term. The treble winners should be expected to find a way through against Newcastle and Erling Halland is, as always, their most likely outlet.

The Norwegian hit 36 goals in just 35 league games last season and is off the mark in 2023/24 after a brace against Burnley, and he can add to his haul when Newcastle visit.

Both Teams To Score at 4/6

City scored in all their home league games last season and are unlikely to draw a blank in their first outing at the Etihad Stadium this term. Newcastle should also be expected to score here as City face a quick turnaround and have conceded in two their three games this season and may struggle to keep a Magpies attack that hit five against Aston Villa quiet.

Sandro Tonali To Have One Or More Shots On Target at 13/5

Newcastle’s marquee summer signing Sandro Tonali made a big impression on his debut against Aston Villa as he fit into the side seamlessly. The Italian had two shots and both of those were on target, and he can test City’s keeper on Saturday.

Bruno Guimaraes To Have One Or More Shots On Target at 10/3

Newcastle midfielder Bruno looks a good outside option for a shot on target on Saturday as he had two attempts against Villa, one of which was on target. Bruno has a shooting accuracy of 40% over the course of his Premier League career and as such he appeals at a big price in this market.

Rodri To Commit Two Or More Fouls at 5/6

The midfield battle between these two sides could well be intense on Saturday evening and that may lead to a few fouls being committed. City midfielder Rodri was called up for two fouls against Burnley last week and looks a strong contender to commit two or more fouls ahead of the visit of Newcastle.

Newcastle Goalkeeper To Make 4 Or More Saves at 4/5

Newcastle dominated Villa in their season opener but keeper Nick Pope was still called on to make five saves in total. Man City have forced opposing keepers into 15 saves in three games this season and in total they have recorded 20 shots on target, so the visiting stopper should be expected to make at least four saves.
