Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

We’re just a week into the new Fantasy Premier League season and we’ve already seen one of the highest scoring weeks we’re likely to get. Breaking 100 points was a given in most mini-leagues, but we know FPL success and failure rests on more than the opening 10 matches.

With gameweek 2 just around the corner we’ve gone game-by-game in the Premier League this weekend. We’ve collected statistics, form and taken a look back over recent years to select a star signing from all 10 matches from this round. You can see our 10 FPL tips below, while head over to our Premier League predictions page for more insight into this weekend’s fixtures.
