Oleksandr Usk and Daniel Dubois rematch for the undisputed heavyweight crown at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, with the defending champion listed as a heavy 3/10 favourite.

There is recent form to go on with Usyk scoring a ninth-round stoppage success over Dynamite in Poland two years ago, but Dubois looks to have improved since that defeat and will be hoping to spring a surprise in front of a home crowd.

Boxing expert Henry Hardwicke has analysed the fight below, as well as rounding up his best tips across the cards on Saturday night for a 7/1 acca!

Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois predictions

Best bet – Oleksandr Usyk to win by decision at 7/4

Oleksandr Usk and Daniel Dubois rematch for the undisputed heavyweight crown at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.

There is recent form to go on with Usyk scoring a ninth-round stoppage success over Dynamite in Poland two years ago.

Of course, many will point to the low blow, which floored the Ukrainian in Wroclaw as an indication of Triple D being able to turn the tables in London, but it seems dangerous to put too much standing on an incident where it is difficult to have any certainty as to what actually took place.

Dubois has since produced the best performance of his career when destroying Anthony Joshua in five rounds last year.

That winning effort demonstrated the best of the Greenwich fighter’s attributes and the power and strength of 27-year-old was too much for AJ.

However, it’s worth remembering that Usyk had previously dominated Joshua in two bouts prior to the Watford man’s clash with Dubois and there is every chance that AJ is a shot fighter.

The Ukrainian produced a pair of excellent displays to beat Tyson Fury, who had previously dethroned Deonaty Wilder, twice last year, and the Simferopol southpaw is an elite-level and unbeaten boxer.

Perhaps Usyk doesn’t quite get the credit his talents deserve, as there isn’t the showmanship of Fury, or following of Joshua, but the 38-year-old’s four victories over the British pair, added to the success over Dubois, is the clear pick of heavyweight form.

Prior to his arrival in the big-hitting division, Usyk dominated the cruiserweight category beating Krzysztof Glowacki, Michael Hunter, Marco Huck, Mairis Briedis, Murat Gassiev and Tony Bellew to become undisputed champion.

The movement, skill and intelligence of the Cat is unrivalled amongst his heavyweight opponents and the Simferopol southpaw looks to hold the clear advantages on Saturday night.

It’s possible there may be a slightly improved version of Dubois this time around, given the 27-year-old will be confident and he has gained more experience, but Triple D may lack the skills and movement to land his big shots on the elusive Simferopol southpaw.

Usyk will well be wary of Dubois power, and that is certainly likely to be Triple D’s most potent weapon, but the Ukrainian has already dismissed the challenge of the Londoner and it’s difficult to see how the 38-year-old doesn’t become a third-time undisputed king at Wembley.

Oleksandr Usyk to beat Daniel Dubois

Oleksandr Usyk dominated Daniel Dubois when the pair clash in 2023 and another success awaits for the Ukrainian at Wembley Stadium.

The Simferopol southpaw is a former undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion, the 38-year-old has won all of his 23 professional contests and Usyk has beaten the best the division has to offer.

The Ukrainian has twice beaten Tyson Fury, twice battered Anthony Joshua and Usyk can add a second victory over Dubois to become a three-time undisputed champion on Saturday night.

Kevin Larena to beat Lawrence Okolie

Lawrence Okolie is attempting to break into the big-hitting division after winning a world cruiserweight title, but the plans could be derailed by Kevin Larena.

The Sauce was poor when losing his 200lbs world crown to Chris Billam-Smith, and the Londoner’s card is littered with unconvincing performances.

Larena was good enough to go 12 rounds with Justis Huni, who performed extremely well against Fabio Wardley last month, and the KO Kid appears to have been underrated by the prices.

Daniel Lapin to beat Louis Edmondson

Daniel Lapin was a gifted amateur performer and the 28-year-old has made an impressive switch to the paid ranks.

The Polish-born boxer looked good when shutting out Dylan Colin in Saudi Arabia in December and he should take care of Louis Edmonson.

The Brit won the British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles when beating Dan Azeez last year, but this rates a major step up for the Southampton man.

Tim Tszyu to beat Sebastian Fundora

Sebastian Fundora handed Tim Tszyu his first professional defeat in a bloody battle last year, but the Aussie can turn the tables this weekend.

The first bout between the pair was a closely-fought contest, which ended in a split-decision success for Fundora, but Tszyu should improve following that setback and he can gain revenge.
