Top flight football in Europe’s big leagues gets underway this weekend and our outright predictions series concludes with this enormous 30,029/1 fourfold combining our top scorer picks.

Our team of experts have selected their contenders to top the scoring charts in Spain, France, Germany and Italy and we’ve put them all together for this accumulator.

La Liga and Ligue 1 begin this weekend, alongside the Premier League of course, and next week sees the start of Serie A in Italy and Germany’s Bundesliga. The new La Liga season begins at 6pm on Friday so this bet must be backed before then.

We’ve priced this bet up with bet365 and the Serie A and La Liga selection are available as each-way selections covering the top four places but we’ve decided to keep things straightforward here and go for outright wins for each pick. La Liga – Alexander Sorloth (Atletico Madrid) @ 10/1

Alexander Sorloth finished fourth in the scoring charts last season in his debut campaign with Atletico Madrid. The forward earned a switch to the Spanish capital by scoring 23 times for Villarreal in 2023/24, which saw him miss out on the golden boot by a single goal.

He averaged 1.15 goals per 90 minutes last season, which was significantly higher than any other player across La Liga. While he scored three fewer goals than he did at Villarreal, his underlying numbers improved, suggesting Atletico were getting him into better positions.

Adding his former teammate Alex Baena should improve Atletico’s creativity, so Sorloth is the standout option in the goalscorer stakes at 10/1.

Ligue 1 – Emanuel Emegha (Strasbourg) @ 25/1

Strasbourg’s chances are boosted by forward Emanuel Emegha, who has the chance to take another huge step forward this term. He scored 14 goals for the club last season, but he led the league in terms of Expected Goals generated with 17.0.

Emegha took a huge step forward in terms of getting into good positions, while he almost doubled his scoring tally year-on-year. The 22-year-old has plenty of room for improvement, so back him at 25/1 to factor into the top scorer race.

Bundesliga – Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund) @ 4/1

Serhou Guirassy has been runner-up to Harry Kane in the scoring charts in consecutive seasons. Last term, both players took a step back in terms of their goal output, but the Dortmund man is better positioned to improve.

Guirassy had some teething issues after his move from Stuttgart, which saw his goal output drop from 28 in 2023/24 to 21 last term. However, his underlying numbers took a jump. The forward went from a huge overperformance two seasons ago, to slightly underperforming his xG of 22.7 in 2024/25.

However, Guirassy’s slow start at Dortmund turned around, which should see his scoring tally rebound in the new campaign.

Serie A – Artem Dovbyk (Roma) @ 20/1

One of New Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini’s trademarks is his work with strikers, largely because his tactical style creates so many extra chances for attacking players. While Roma are aiming to bolster their forward line, Dovbyk has the tools to emerge as the starting striker ahead of some excellent creative players.

Dovbyk was La Liga top scorer in 2023/24 with Girona, scoring 24 times from an xG tally of 24.2. The forward scored 12 times in his debut campaign in Rome, but he recorded 11.9 xG. That level of consistent finishing suggests he should thrive under a more attacking manager.

Mateo Retegui was a surprise top scorer last term for Gasperini’s Atalanta, so Dovbyk holds plenty of appeal for what should be the most attacking side in the division.
