Southampton vs Tottenham

Best bet – Heung-min Son to score

Southampton must be dreading the visit of Heung-min Son, despite the South Korean’s relatively poor season so far. The Spurs attacker has a remarkable record against the Saints, scoring 12 goals in 16 appearances against them and averaging a goal every 92 minutes.

He may not have lived up to his goalscoring feats of last season but he did get on the scoresheet against Nottingham Forest last time out and offers excellent value at 2/1.

Brentford vs Leicester

Best bet – James Maddison to score

Another side performing below expectations are Leicester, but midfield maestro James Maddison can take none of the blame for their poor season. The Foxes are the top scorers in the bottom-half of the Premier League table and a lot of that can be accredited to Maddison.

Despite his gametime being limited due to injury, the England midfielder is Leicester’s top scorer with nine goals in 19 appearances and is closing in on his personal record of 12 league goals in a season.

At 9/2 to punish the Bees, he looks a great price to get on the scoresheet, particularly given this selection is as short as 2/1 with some other bookmakers.

Chelsea vs Everton

Best bet – James Tarkowski to have a shot

Sticking with the away-day heroes, James Tarkowski will be hoping to help the struggling Everton to an upset against a similarly floundering Chelsea.

The centre-back found the net in Sean Dyche’s first game in charge – a 1-0 win over Arsenal – and is the Toffees’ primary threat from set pieces, which is an area Dyche may look to exploit against a Chelsea side that have conceded eight goals from set pieces this season.

Tarkowski has had seven shots in seven games under Dyche and looks a solid even money bet to threaten Kepa’s goal.
