Manchester City vs Leeds United

Leeds have been a breath of fresh air since their promotion to the Premier League, though their commitment to attacking football has regularly been punished by the division’s stronger teams.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side conceded four goals at Liverpool, three at Chelsea, six at Manchester United, three at Tottenham Hotspur and four at Arsenal – and worryingly for Leeds, Manchester City are a more formidable force than all of them.

The Citizens scored four and five goals against Wolves and Southampton respectively in their last two Premier League home victories, and they could run up another wide-margin win against an open Leeds outfit.

Betting tip: Over 2.5 Man City goals at 10/11

Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Liverpool looked back to their ferocious best when they hammered Arsenal 3-0 at The Emirates Stadium on Sunday, and keen to avenge their remarkable 7-2 reverse from earlier in the campaign, the Reds will be going for the jugular against Aston Villa at Anfield.

The last four meetings between the clubs produced a whopping 5.25 goals per 90 minutes, and Liverpool and Villa’s latest skirmish has all the makings of another thriller.

Betting tip: Over 2.5 goals @4/7

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea

10-man Chelsea were left shellshocked by a West Brom team that made full use of their numerical superiority to win 5-2 at Stamford Bridge last weekend, and Crystal Palace have the tools to play on their visitor’s nerves at Selhurst Park.

Chelsea have a tough tie in Spain against Porto to negotiate before they cross London to take on the Eagles, and with players coming back and extra preparation time to enjoy, Palace could frustrate their city rivals.

Betting tip: Crystal Palace double chance @11/8

Burnley vs Newcastle United

Newcastle United showed an appetite for the fight last week when they secured a point late on against Tottenham Hotspur and the Magpies’ late leveller should galvanise their confidence ahead of a crunch tussle with Burnley.

The Clarets have traded goals with each of their last four opponents and backing both teams to score is advised again when Burnley meet a Newcastle team desperate for points.

Betting tip: Both teams to score

West Ham United vs Leicester City

With Jesse Lingard West Ham’s heartbeat yet again, the Irons beat Wolves 3-2 in their last outing to launch themselves back into the Premier League’s top four.

A game against third-placed Leicester City will be an acid test of West Ham’s Champions League qualification aspirations, and having turned the Foxes over 3-0 at King Power Stadium earlier in the campaign, the confident Hammers could land another blow.

Betting tip: West Ham double chance
