We’ve just had a brilliant weekend of football, from the FA Cup quarter-finals to El Clasico and the Derby d’Italia. Following that up with an international break is pretty underwhelming, but it’s not all bad news.

As the season breaks for the first international window since the World Cup, we’ve scoured the fixture list to pick out the best away sides in action across the next seven days.

Below you can find our 285/1 Road Warriors Accumulator, with a selection each day through to Sunday. This acca is priced up with bet365 and new customers can claim £30 in free bets by placing a £10 bet through the link below.

Road Warriors Long Haul

Monday – Eibar to win at Mirandes

Eibar have won four straight games to sit top of the Spanish second tier and they are searching for another victory on Monday to extend their lead at the top to four points. They go up against a Mirandes side who are in decent form, but the hosts sit 13th in the table and should struggle in this one.

Mirandes have lost five of their seven clashes with the top sides so far this term and they should struggle against an Eibar side who look strong. The visitors have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five trips, while they’ve won three of their last four matches on the road.

Tuesday – Plymouth to win at Accrington Stanley

Accrington are on course for League Two after losing three of their last four matches. The hosts have lost three of their last four home games and things are set to get worse against Plymouth.

The hosts have a dire record against the top nine, losing 12 of their 13 games against them. While Plymouth don’t have a great away record, they have won eight of their nine clashes with the bottom five. Back them to claim the points in this trip.

Wednesday – Grimsby to win at Mansfield

Grimsby were hammered 5-0 by Brighton at the weekend but they return to league action in midweek with a chance to dent Mansfield’s playoff push. The visitors have won 1-0 in their last two league games, while the hosts are going through a rough spell.

Mansfield have won once in their last four games, while they’ve won less than half of their home matches so far this season. Meanwhile, Grimsby have won eight times on their travels this season, including two wins in their last three on the road. Back them to win at a Mansfield side who lost 5-2 in their last home game.

Thursday – Slovenia to win at Kazakhstan

The Euro 2024 qualifiers start on Thursday, kicking off in Kazakhstan as Slovenia chase three points. The visitors are unbeaten in six, winning three of their last four matches. They ended 2022 with a win in Romania, so they should be chasing a perfect start to their qualifying campaign.

Kazakhstan lost to nil in five of their last six qualifying games and they head into this clash on the back of three straight defeats. They were beaten in three of their four home games in the last round of qualifiers and they should suffer another defeat here.

Friday – Belgium to win at Sweden

On the face of it, Sweden are in a better place than Belgium heading into this one. The hosts have won their last four, but those games were all friendlies as the Swedes failed to make it to the World Cup in Qatar.

Sweden lost four of their last five games in the Nations League, while they’ve lost each of their last three meetings with Belgium. The Red Devils face their first game under Domenico Tedesco having won their last 14 European Championship qualifiers, so back them for a victory.

Saturday – Stockport to win at Swindon

Stockport are making a strong push for a playoff spot and they can strengthen their top seven hopes with three points at midtable Swindon. The hosts are fresh off a slip up away to Rochdale, drawing 4-4 with the strugglers.

The visitors have picked up eight wins so far this season on their travels and they visit a Swindon side who have lost at home to Doncaster and Carlisle in their last three at their own ground. Meanwhile, Stockport have won three of their last four trips and can take the points here.

Sunday – Sheffield Wednesday to win at Forest Green

Sunday sees League One’s bottom and top teams meet, with the pair set to be two divisions apart next term. Forest Green have lost 24 of 37 of their games this term, while the Owls have won five of their last six league games.

Forest Green have lost all but one of their home clashes with top half teams, while Wednesday have a 100% record against teams in the bottom five. The visitors have League One’s best away record record and no team has fewer points at home than Forest Green, so back an away win.
