Another full round of Premier League action begins on Friday and while most of our daily football tips focus on match result and goals markets, here we’re honing in on one of the more overlooked areas: The cards and corners markets.

I’ve picked out five bets from this Saturday’s Premier League schedule and combined them into one tasty 25/1 acca!

25/1 Premier League cards & corners acca

Burnley vs Leicester

Burnley to win the most corners

Burnley may be below Leicester in the corner-count table this season but, as is often the case with the Clarets, everything changes at Turf Moor.

Sean Dyche’s side average 6.0 corners per home game compared to just 3.6 away from home, while away from home Leicester concede the joint-second highest amount of corners at 6.89 per game, winning just 4.67 at the other end.

Newcastle vs Watford

Newcastle over 2.5 team cards

Only Leeds (54) have picked up more cards than Newcastle (48) this season and that averages out at 2.53 cards per game. They have been carded at least three times in six of their last ten Premier League matches.

They face a Watford side that, away from home, see their opponents carded 2.5 times per game on average – the joint-second highest in the league – and their opponents have been shown at least three cards in three of their last four trips.

Norwich vs Everton

Norwich over 4.5 team corners

Norwich have averaged 4.68 corners per league game this season but tht rises to a more impressive 5.6 when at Carrow Road and they’re coming up against an Everton side that struggle in the corner count department.

The Toffees not only win fewer corners than any other side (3.83), they also concede a hefty 6.06 corners per game and away from home that increases slightly to 6.22 corner concessions per outing.

Wolves vs Southampton

Mohammed Salisu to be carded

Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu has been carded more than any other player in the Premier League this season with six bookings and one sending off to his name.

He has picked up three yellows and a red in his last six appearances for the Saints and faces a Wolves side that see their opponents average 2.26 cards per game on average – the fourth highest tally in the top flight.

Aston Villa vs Man Utd

Both teams to receive a card

Manchester United and Aston Villa are among the most ill-disciplined teams in the Premier League with averages of 2.37 and 2.21 cards per game respectively.

The Villains have picked up at least one card in 18 of their 19 league games this season and their games average 4.26 cards per game in total, while Manchester United have been booked in 17 of their 19 league outings and both their competitive meetings with Aston Villa this season have yielded cards on both sides.
