With the NFL regular season now over, it is time to focus on the play-offs and 14 teams are all fighting it out to reach Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in California.
That is the home of the San Francisco 49ers, who are 22/1 to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy in February.
The NFC’s No.1 seed, the Seattle Seahawks, are the 15/4 favourites to win the Super Bowl, closely followed by the Los Angeles Rams at 17/4.
AFC top dogs, the Denver Broncos, are considered third favourites for the crown at 13/2, while the Los Angeles have been deemed 30/1 outsiders.
Super Bowl LX winner prediction – Los Angeles Rams at 17/4
It has been five years since the Rams won the Super Bowl, and they did so on home soil at the SoFi Stadium.
They won’t have to travel far for this year’s showpiece and that could be a big advantage in a game that is often decided by the finest of margins.
Stafford’s play this season suggests he can lead his team to another title, with wide receiver Puka Nacua continuing to play at a high level.
On the ground, Kyren Williams and Blake Corum have run the ball well in recent weeks, while their defensive line is one of the best in the business.
The Rams have all the tools to succeed and luck may well be on their side as they look to do the business once again on the West Coast.

AFC Championship winner prediction – Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills had to play second fiddle for a change in the AFC East, but that may not necessarily be a bad thing heading into the playoffs.
Josh Allen is considered one of the best quarterbacks to have never won a Super Bowl, but this year there are question marks surrounding him and the Bills. Buffalo may not be as clinical and dominant as they once were, but they still finished the season with a 12-5 record.
That record included a 35-31 win over the Patriots in Week 15 and Sean McDermott’s team have plenty of experience at this level.
While New England and the Denver Broncos have both done exceptionally well this season, both teams have quarterbacks who have never had to shine on the big stage.
When beating the Patriots, the Bills scored from five of their six trips to the end zone and that ruthless streak suggests there’s still so much potential with this team.
Buffalo’s run defence has been woeful and they will need to lean heavily on Allen, but he can handle that burden. Running back James Cook III finished the regular season with the most rushing yards, so he can help take some pressure off his quarterback.
NFC Championship winner prediction – Los Angeles Rams
Like the Bills, the Rams finished second in their division, with the Seattle Seahawks finishing the regular season with a superb 14-3 record. Los Angeles were not far behind them with a 12-5 record, so this should be between them two teams for the NFC.
The Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers are all bidding to stop the Rams – but they will do well to do so.
The Rams did finish the season with three defeats in six, but all of those were by three points or fewer. In fact, their five losses throughout the campaign were all by seven points or less.
Thankfully for Sean McVay’s team, they play the Panthers in the Wildcard Round, who are the weakest team in the play-offs.
Their quarterback, Matthew Stafford, is the favourite for the MVP award, and they should be able to outmuscle their rivals in their quest for more Super Bowl glory.
The manner of their defeats this season proves how difficult they are to beat and that should help them over the line in the NFC.
