I have lined up six underdogs who look likely to avoid defeat over the next week, covering the Champions League, the Europa League, the Bundesliga, and ending with a weekend double in the Premier League, combining for a 31/1 double chance accumulator!

Tuesday – Kairat Almaty vs Celtic
Kairat Almaty double chance
Odds-on favourites Celtic were held to a goalless draw in Glasgow in the first leg, and the Kazakhstan visitors deserved the result as they limited the Bhoys to 0.56 expected goals.
Kairat have won all three of their home Champions League qualifiers this season and have only lost four of their last 29 home games in Europe, while Celtic haven’t won an away game on the continent since 2021.
Wednesday – Qarabag vs Ferencvaros
Ferencvaros double chance
Qarabag built a 3-1 lead in Hungary last week, but they were arguably the worst team in that tie and may fail to justify their favouritism on home soil.
They lost the shot count and had an expected goal deficit of -0.32 at Ferencvaros, and the Hungarian side have regularly performed better on the road than in front of their own fans in Europe.
Four of their last five Champions League defeats have come at home, with only one road defeat in their last eight trips in this competition. With Qarabag already holding a comfortable lead, don’t expect the Azerbaijani’s to push for a win.
Thursday – FCSB vs Aberdeen
Aberdeen double chance
Aberdeen were good value for their 2-2 draw in Scotland last week as they won the shot count 28-10 and controlled possession throughout, and they should be able to avoid defeat in Bucharest on Thursday.
FCSB have only won seven of their last 13 home European games, and Aberdeen have proven a difficult side to beat in their continental forays in recent years, losing only two of their last six away games.
Friday – Hamburg vs St Pauli
St Pauli double chance
St Pauli opened their Bundesliga campaign with an impressive 3-3 draw at home to Borussia Dortmund, and they can remain unbeaten for another week when they face the newly promoted Hamburg.
St Pauli have only lost three of their last 11 Bundesliga games and went unbeaten in their final three away games last season, so they can take something away from the Volksparkstadion.
Saturday – Wolves vs Everton
Everton double chance
Everton were miserable as they lost their opening game against Leeds, but they looked a transformed side against Brighton last weekend and should be able to maintain momentum against Wolves.
Saturday’s hosts have lost both of their games so far without scoring, and look to be missing the departed Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha.
Sunday – Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace double chance
Aston Villa are yet to score a goal in the Premier League, and their winless start to the season may stretch to three matches against an impressive looking Crystal Palace outfit.
The Eagles have drawn against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest either side of a European win over Fredrikstad, and they are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Villa, winning four of them.
