The final stages of the Club World Cup take centre stage this week, with the continuation of the Women’s Euro 2025 group stages and the start of Champions League qualifying also whetting our appetites in midweek.

With plenty of action in the week ahead, I’ve picked out my best bet from each day, combining into an 29/1 acca running until Sunday.

Back our 29/1 Long Haul acca here!

Tuesday – Vikingur Gota vs Lincoln Red Imps

Best bet – Vikingur Gota to win

Lincoln Red Imps have won just two European away games in their 11-year history on the continent, and they could be set for yet another disappointing trip when they visit the Faroe Islands.

The Gibraltarian side have lost ten of their last 11 European trips and have failed to score in eight of those losses, while Vikingur Gota have won two, drawn one, and lost two of their last five home games in Europe.

Wednesday – PSG vs Real Madrid

Best bet – PSG to win

PSG picked up a deserved win against German giants Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals, and now their attention turns to a Spanish behemoth as they face a Real Madrid side they have only lost one of their last four meetings with.

Les Parisiens have now won nine of their last ten matches in all competitions and have only conceded one goal in the Club World Cup so far. With Ousmane Dembele back, they can continue their dominance and make the final.

Thursday – AEK vs Partizan Belgrade

Best bet – AEK to win

Partizan Belgrade have not won an away game in Europe since the 2022/23 Europa Conference League play-offs, and another defeat is on the cards when they visit Larnaca on Thursday.

The Serbian side have lost seven of their last eight games in Europe, shipping 20 goals in that period and scoring just four in return. AEK won both their home qualifiers in last season’s UEFA Conference League and can make it three in a row here.

Friday – Waterford vs Cork City

Best bet – Waterford to win

Cork City are rock bottom of the Irish Premier Division and their dismal away record looks set to continue in Waterford.

They have picked up just two points from 11 league away games this season and head to the Regional Sports Centre having lost their last five trips away. Waterford have taken 11 points from the last 18 available at home and look good value to move further clear of the relegation zone.

Saturday – Bodo/Glimt vs Sandefjord

Best bet – Bodo/Glimt to win

Sandefjord are a point ahead of Bodo/Glimt in the Norwegian Eliteserien, but Saturday’s hosts have started to find their feet recently and should coast to victory on home soil.

They have won two of their four home league games this season and four of their last five home meetings with Sandefjord, who head to Aspmyra Stadion having lost their last four competitive away games.

Sunday – Stromsgodset vs Tromso

Best bet – Tromso to win

Stromsgodset have amassed just six points from a possible 36 in the Norwegian Eliteserien this season, and they may sink further from safety at third-placed Tromso on Sunday.

Sunday’s hosts have lost all six home league games this season by an aggregate scoreline of 13-3, and Tromso head into this tie having won each of their last seven in all competitions. They haven’t lost an away game since their first trip of the season, and their winning run should continue in Drammen.
