There is no top flight football in Europe this week as we’ve entered another international break but there is still plenty of action to look forward to.

I’ve had a look over all the fixtures – from across the globe – and identified five teams I think can pick up wins on the road from Monday to Friday.

This accumulator pays out at a hefty 70/1 and will hopefully keep us entertained until next weekend. Read on to see who I’m backing.

70/1 Road Warriors Long Haul Accumulator Tip

Monday

Tenerife vs Almeria

Tip: Almeria to win

There is one game from Spain’s second tier on Monday and it could be a cracker as promotion rivals Tenerife and Almeria meet.

Tenerife sit in fourth place in the La Liga 2 standings and Almeria are second, but the hosts have been far better on their travels and only have the ninth best home record in the division.

Tenerife have three defeats in their last six home games across all competitions and they’ve lost their last three games against the visitors, and I’m expecting Almeria to come away with maximum points.

Tuesday

Maidenhead vs Southend

Tip: Southend to win

We’re treated to a full round of National League fixtures on Tuesday and I’ve picked out Southend to come claim a win at out-of-sorts Maidenhead.

The hosts have lost four of their last five games and have failed to score in all of those, while Southend are in form and have lost just one of their last 12 games – winning two of their last three.

Wednesday

Brisbane Roar vs Melbourne City

Tip: Melbourne City to win

There are two A-League games on Wednesday morning and league leaders Melbourne City should be able to see off struggling Brisbane.

The Roar have picked up of late and have managed back-to-back wins ahead of this game, but City are unbeaten in seven (W4, D3) and have four wins in their last five meetings with Brisbane.

Thursday

Paraguay vs Ecuador

Tip: Ecuador to win

World Cup qualification comes into focus later on in the week and late in the evening Ecuador continue their bid for a place in Qatar at Paraguay.

For the hosts, this game is a dead-rubber as they can no longer qualify but Ecuador sit third in the standings and are closing in on automatic qualification.

Paraguay are in woeful form and have five defeats in their last six, while they have gone seven games without a goal. Ecuador won the reverse fixture 2-0 in September and can inflict another defeat on Paraguay on Thursday.

Friday

Costa Rica vs Canada

Tip: Canada to win

Costa Rica face Canada in the early hours of Friday morning and this game is due to start roughly 30 minutes after Ecuador’s game in Paraguay has come to an end.

Canada have enjoyed an exceptional qualification campaign and are set to finish above the USA and Mexico. The Maple Leafs have won each of their last six games and have beaten Costa Rica in each of the two most recent meetings, so I’m expecting them to take maximum points on Friday.
