Aberdeen vs BK Hacken Predictions
BETTING TIP – DRAW
CORRECT SCORE PREDICTION – 1-1 DRAW
- Aberdeen have drawn two pre-season friendlies against Inverness CT (1-1) and St Johnstone (0-0).
- BK Hacken are undefeated in their last six away games (Drawn 4, Won 2).
- There have been fewer than three goals scored in six of the last seven BK Hacken away games.
Dons to draw with in-form Swedes
Aberdeen have been given a tough opener in their bid to make it through to the group stage of the Europa Conference League.
Visitors BK Hacken are second only to champions Malmo in the Allsvenskan form table (with four wins and a draw from their last six outings) and are also undefeated away from home since May.
The Wasps have conceded only six goals in their six domestic away games to date and became the first team this season to record a clean sheet at Norrkoping only last weekend.
That 1-0 victory was their fourth consecutive domestic win and – in stark contrast to the Dons – their 12th competitive match of the campaign.
Aberdeen have so far only played two behind closed-door friendlies at the club’s Cormack Park training facility and drawn them both, giving new boss Stephen Glass only a glimpse of some of his players.
But, backed by a 5,665 strong crowd at Pittodrie, Glass’ men can stay in the tie and then try to make progress next week in Gothenburg – where Hacken’s home record is not nearly so good.
The Dons’ friendly results (1-1 and 0-0) suggest goals are not likely to flow here and a study of Hacken’s recent away record also points us in the direction of an Under 2.5 goals bet.
Six of the Wasps’ last seven road trips have featured fewer than three goals and four have been draws so we are in favour of a Draw and Under 2.5 goals play here with 1-1 the preferred outcome.
