Andorra are in awful shape and that’s left them as rank outsiders. The hosts have lost their last seven games, failing to score in five of those. They’ve lost six of their last seven at home, including setbacks to the Cape Verde Islands and Faroe Islands.

However, the Republic of Ireland aren’t a side filled with goals. They’ve scored three times in one of their last 15 matches – a 2019 victory over New Zealand. It’s nearly five years since they scored three times in an away game, while only six of their 26-man squad have scored an international goal before. To make matters worse, half of those six are defenders.

This is a Republic of Ireland side low on creativity and goals. They are likely to come away with a win but they’re not expected to do it in style, so we’re backing an away win with fewer than four goals to be scored in the match.
