FSV Mainz 05 vs Arminia Bielefeld Predictions

Mainz should enhance their survival hopes

A big game at the bottom of the Bundesliga sees Mainz play host to Arminia Bielefeld and it is Die Nullfunfer who can take a giant leap towards their survival.

15th-placed Mainz are only two points clear of second-bottom Arminia Bielefeld, but Bo Svensson will know a victory for his side will stand them in great stead for the remainder of the season.

Despite their lowly league position, Mainz have been transformed in 2021 and they have avoided defeat in eight of their 11 last matches, winning back-to-back games.

Arminia, who have recorded only one win in nine, have failed to score in five of their last six games and their troubles may continue at the Opel Arena.
