      Arsenal vs Manchester United Predictions

Arsenal fell behind at home to Olympiakos three times on Tuesday evening, twice recovering through Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez but unable to find a third equaliser.

This makes it zero points from their opening two Champions League games, and they still have two games against Bayern Munich to play.

They did manage to win at the weekend though when an Alexis Sanchez master class guided them to an emphatic 5-2 victory at the previously unbeaten Leicester.

Their two losses against West Ham and Chelsea along with their goalless draw against Liverpool leave them in 4th position in the Premier League with a tally of 13 points from their opening seven games.

Manchester United are sitting at the top of the table for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, and the way they are playing at the moment you can’t argue that they don’t deserve it.

They have won their last four matches in all competitions, most recently beating Wolfsburg 2-1 after falling behind to an early goal.

This followed a 3-0 victory over Sunderland, a 3-0 win over Ipswich, and a 3-2 win at Southampton. They have finally found their goalscoring form again after two years absence.

Arsenal haven’t beaten Manchester United at the Emirates since 2011, with United winning two of the four matches since then.

Their chances certainly won’t increase with the absence of Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta, Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Flamini, and Danny Welbeck through injury.

Manchester United are only missing the long term absentee Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo for the visit to the capital.

With Manchester United in better form than their opponents and having an almost fully fit squad compared to the decimated central midfield of Arsenal I think the visitors can get the win on Sunday. Odds of 13/8 for Manchester United Draw No Bet only make me want to back it more, and I’m going for that along with a 2-1 Man United win at 12/1.
