Atletico Madrid vs Eibar Betting Tips

They had a late chance to grab what would have been a crucial point but the reality of the situation now is they are 3 points behind a Barca team that has 1 game in hand at the top of the table.

Their ill-discipline in that game also leaves them without 3 members of their regular and extremely trusted back four here. Diego Godin, Filipe Luis and Juanfran are all suspended and given Atleti’s success is built around solid defence that will be a big worry given Eibar have been surprisingly potent in the final third.

They have the 3rd best goalscoring record in the league behind only Barcelona and Real Madrid and have only failed to score in 2 of their last 18 league matches and both teams have netted in all of their last 4 games. They did concede 5 goals in their last away game though at Athletic Bilbao so they are vulnerable at the back.

Backing there to be over 2.5 goals then looks a good bet here at 21/20 and we could well see both teams score.

Eibar will feel as though they have a chance here given Atleti’s absentees but their overall record against the top sides since they were promoted to the top flight is very poor. They are yet to take a single point off Atletico, Real or Barca in 9 attempts since their surprise promotion and they may be just edged out again so consider backing a 2-1 home win at 8/1.
