Goals galore expected at Oakwell

Norwich wrapped up promotion and the Championship title several weeks ago and they could end the campaign on 99 points if they win at Oakwell on Saturday.

Opponents Barnsley will be looking to join the Canaries in the Premier League next season and they are already guaranteed their playoff place heading into the final day.

However, last week’s 2-0 loss at Preston means Tykes’ boss Valerien Ismael will be demanding a response from his side and Barnsley do have an impressive home record, losing just two of their last 14 league fixtures at Oakwell.

Ismael has also seen his side score in nine of their last 10 home games in the Championship, with only relegation-threatened Derby having kept the Tykes at bay.

Only Brentford have scored more away goals in the Championship this season than Norwich, with the Canaries having netted in each of their last eight matches on the road.

Daniel Farke’s side are also unbeaten in the same number of away games, while no team has accumulated more Championship points on the road than the Canaries this season.

Over 2.5 goals have also been scored in three of Norwich last four fixtures and we are predicting that outcome to bear fruit once again on Saturday.
