Blackburn vs Fulham Betting Tips and Predictions

They had to wait a fair while for the first. They’d not won on the road since October when they travelled across West London on Saturday to face local rivals QPR who they’d beaten 4-0 earlier in the season. Despite some improved recent displays, results had still been poor and Fulham had just one win in 16 matches going into the game.

However a clinical first half display saw them race into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Ross McCormack, Moussa Dembele and Tom Cairney and despite a consolation goal for the hosts Fulham completed a famous double over their rivals and will take some real confidence into this game.

The same can’t be said of Blackburn who are without a win in 9 Championship matches and have slipped below Fulham in the standings. Given their inability to pick up maximum points you have to like the visitors here at 3/4 to avoid defeat.

Rovers were beaten 2-0 at home by Hull at the weekend and are now just 5 points above the drop-zone. They do have an FA Cup 5th Round tie against West Ham to look forward to at the weekend and they’ve played quite well in that competition but haven’t been able to transform that into positive showings in the league.

Fulham have netted 47 goals this season in the league, a tally bettered by just 2 teams. Blackburn by contrast have just 25 and a significant percentage were scored by the recently departed Jordan Rhodes and their inability to find the net is becoming a real cause for concern.

For that reason Fulham’s extra firepower might prove decisive here and you can back a 2-1 away win at 11/1, a result which would see Slavisa Jokanovic’s side move 4 points above Rovers and 9 clear of the bottom three.
