Sligo appeal as underdogs

Bohemians entertain Sligo in Ireland’s top tier on Friday night in a mid-table battle.

Sligo are four points better off, having played two games more, and they are the team in the better form with four wins in their last six – with Bohs winless in five.

The hosts won 2-0 when these sides last met in the reverse fixture earlier in the season and they go into the game as odds-on favourites, but at a big price Sligo look a risk worth taking here.

The visitors come into the game after back-to-back home wins over strong opposition in the shape of Shamrock Rovers and Derry.
