Luca Gotti’s men have seen both sides net in six of their last nine outings, in which they have shipped a total of 15 goals – five of them in an enthralling 5-2 Coppa Italia defeat against Atalanta just last week.

Out-of-shape sides to net in Bologna

With neither Bologna nor Spezia inspiring enough confidence for a tip on the result markets, backing both teams to net appears a prudent play after the teams shared a 2-2 draw in September’s reverse fixture.

However, there may well be a victor this time around. Only five teams – four of the current top five plus Juventus – have earned more than Bologna’s 16 home points this season in Serie A, and home advantage could see them through to a 2-1 win.
