Boreham Wood hoping to win the FA Cup battle

National League side, Boreham Wood welcome Millwall to Meadow Park this weekend as they hope to pull off an FA Cup shock and earn a bigger tie in the next round.

The hosts have won all four of their games in recent weeks, most recently beating struggling Barnet 3-0 last weekend. The side seem to be finding some form after a tricky start to the season and their recent run has seen them rise to 11th place in the National League table.

Millwall had been flirting with the playoff places in the early stages of the season but their form has really struggling recently with the side winning just once in their last 13 games. This form has seen them drop to 17th in the Championship, just six points above the relegation zone.

This looks like it could be a really tricky game for Millwall and they come into it short on both form and confidence. Boreham Wood, on the other hand, will have plenty of both as well as having home advantage. This makes the home side sitting on odds of 13/2 look really appealing but Millwall undoubtedly still have quality in their ranks though so we’re erring on the side of caution and backing Boreham Wood on the double chance market.
