Bayern Munich and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Bayern have won on five of their last six visits to Signal Iduna Park and should have the talent and temperament to dent Dortmund’s perfect home record. Both teams have scored in four of Dortmund’s last five home league games, but they will struggle to contain an in-form Bayern side that have won five of their six away Bundesliga games this season.

Bayern Munich 4-2

Reason for tip

Bayern have scored multiple goals in all but one of their away Bundesliga matches and average almost four per game. It is not too far-fetched to see them repeating last season’s four-goal tally in Dortmund because the home defence has shown signs of fragility this season, shipping five goals in Stuttgart and at Real Madrid. Dortmund should get on the scoresheet too and after Bayern conceded two at Wolfsburg and three in Frankfurt, a 4-2 away win could be on the cards.

Harry Kane To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Harry Kane has scored 14 Bundesliga goals in 933 minutes this season and grabbed his third hat-trick of the campaign against Augsburg last Friday.

Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich Predictions

  • Bayern have won on five of their last six visits to Signal Iduna Park
  • Bayern have won five of their six away Bundesliga games this season
  • Both teams have scored in four of Dortmund’s last five home league games – all wins

Bayern can ruin Dortmund’s home record

Bayern are back on top in Germany and they should strengthen their Bundesliga title bid with a thrilling win over Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.

Both of last season’s Der Klassiker clashes were won by the away sides as Bayern thrashed Dortmund 4-0 in front of their own fans in November before Die Schwarzgelben gained revenge in the spring when they were plotting their superb run to the Champions League Final.

Bayern have the better overall form right now with nine wins and two draws to Dortmund’s six wins, one draw and four losses. But all of Dortmund’s defeats have come away from home, leaving them a perfect six from six in league games at Signal Iduna Park.

Kane enjoying another purple patch

Bayern, however, probably have too much talent and big-game temperament for Nuri Sahin’s side right now, who will miss injured Karim Adeyemi – the star of their 2-0 win at the Allianz Arena last season.

Harry Kane is back in top form after a late-season injury last term left him looking like a shadow of himself in the summer. The England captain has scored 14 Bundesliga goals in 933 minutes this season and grabbed his third hat-trick of the campaign against Augsburg last Friday.

Kane scored three in this fixture last season and it is interesting to note that he has notched six of his seven Bundesliga hat-tricks in the months of September, October and November. Back the Englishman to score in a 2-1 Bayern win with Dortmund capable of scoring against the visitors, who did concede two at Wolfsburg and three in Frankfurt earlier this season.
