      Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace Predictions

Bournemouth looked down and out just a few weeks ago. They had failed to win in nine consecutive matches and had lost six times, causing them to drop into the Premier League relegation zone.

But the confidence they gained with a well deserved win over Chelsea has reinvigorated the squad, and they followed it up with an equally impressive 2-1 win over Manchester United and another victory against West Brom on Saturday.

This three match winning streak has lifted them out of the drop zone, and they come in this Boxing Day fixture in 14th position and with a four point cushion on the bottom three.

Crystal Palace won’t be pushovers though. Their last gasp win against Stoke on Saturday made it four games unbeaten for Alan Pardew’s side and lifted them to 6th in the Premier League table, level on points with 4th placed Spurs.

This is an achievement not even the most optimistic Palace supporter would have envisaged, but you can’t deny the impressiveness of their performances this season.

They have won four of their last six Premier League games, losing just once and beating the likes of Liverpool, Southampton, and Stoke.

Crystal Palace have shown excellent pace on the break in recent weeks, and against Bournemouth at home they will have an opportunity to test their opponents on a more regular basis due to Bournemouth’s newfound attacking philosophy.

The away side have seen three or more goals scored in four of their last five matches, and I can see this one being a high scoring match as well. Odds of 1/1 for Over 2.5 Goals look really good value as well, and I’m also backing a 2-2 draw at 14/1 due to both sides excellent form lately.
