Bournemouth vs Liverpool Betting Tips & Predictions

Bournemouth looked comfortable and assured against Aston Villa last weekend as they bounced back from back to back defeats against Spurs and Manchester City to claim their 4th win in their last six matches in the Premier League.

It is this impressive form that has pushed them up the Premier League table and to within touching distance of a top-half finish in their debut season in the top flight. It has also seen them leapfrog Watford, who impressed everyone in the first half of the season but have dropped off recently.

However, it could be very difficult for them to break Liverpool confidence after their match on Thursday. Jurgen Klopp welcomed his former team Borussia Dortmund to Anfield hoping to use the 1-1 draw they achieved in Germany to their advantage.

It didn’t look good from the start as Dortmund fired in two goals within the first ten minutes of the game, but Liverpool sorted themselves out a bit after that. Divock Origi pulled one back just after the break but Dortmund looked home and dry when Marco Reus put the visitors 3-1 up. Liverpool needed another three goals without reply to qualify. They duly obliged though, with Phillipe Coutino, Mamadhou Sakho, and Dejan Lovren scoring to record a famous victory for Liverpool.

This followed on from their 4-1 thrashing of Stoke at the weekend, so they have now scored eight goals in two games. They are proving very difficult to beat as well, with just one defeat in their last 13 games in all competitions.

Six of Liverpool’s last seven Premier League games have seen at least three goals scored as well, and Bournemouth aren’t shying away from goals either. They have seen more than two goals scored in each of their last five outings, scoring eight and conceding 11.

This makes odds of Evens for Over 2.5 Goals look incredibly good value. The result could be very tight though with both teams in such good form. I’m going to back a 2-2 draw for my correct score prediction at 14/1.
