      Under 2.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

Five of Braga’s six Europa League games have gone under 2.5 goals and Nottingham Forest have hardly been prolific as of late so this could be another low-scoring affair. Take the unders in this European clash.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

      Braga vs Nottingham Forest Predictions

      • Five of Braga’s six league stage games have gone under 2.5 goals
      • Nottingham Forest have drawn back-to-back matches
      • Both teams have scored in five of Braga’s last six matches

      Forest looking for top-eight spot

The Europa League has been a source of respite for a Nottingham Forest side who have endured a disappointing campaign under three different managers.

The Tricky Trees have taken 11 points from six league stage games and are currently two points behind a top-eight spot and automatic progress to the last 16.

Sean Dyche’s side were much improved against Arsenal at the weekend, holding the league leaders to a draw, but they have only won one of their last seven games and it is hard to be too optimistic about their chances against Braga.

      Cagey affair likely

The Portuguese outfit are on track for a top-eight finish after winning four of their opening six games, including victories over Nice, Feyenoord and Celtic.

However their recent domestic form has left a bit to be desired, they have only won two of their last six matches in all competitions.

With holes to pick in both teams’ form, siding with this to be a low-scoring affair looks the safer play.

Braga have kept four clean sheets in six league stage matches and Forest have only conceded six times in as many games.

With both teams battling it out for an automatic spot in the knockouts, this could be a cagey affair and unders is the bet.

Both teams have scored in five of Braga’s last six matches and the 1-1 draw is the correct score selection.
