Brest vs Dijon Predictions
- Only the top-four in Ligue 1 boast a better home record than Brest this season.
- Brest have kept three clean-sheets in their last four meetings with Dijon.
- Dijon are on an eight-match losing streak across all competitions.
Dijon won’t cut the mustard again
Brest are without a win in three Ligue 1 games, but that poor run is slightly deceptive, as they have come up against three of the top four in the division in Lille, Lyon and Monaco.
Indeed, Olivier Dall’Oglio will be hopeful his side can return to winning ways against Dijon, as Brest boast an impressive home record this season, with only the top-four teams in the league having collected more points on their own patch.
In total, Brest have won seven of their 13 league games at the Stade Francis-Le Ble this season, while they have kept three clean-sheets in their last four meetings with Dijon, winning two of those games 2-0.
Dijon’s hopes of surviving in Ligue 1 appear to be fading, as they sit bottom of the standings and are a full 11 points adrift of safety.
David Linares has also seen his side lose each of their last eight matches across all competitions, seven of which have come in Ligue 1, while their last victory in the league was before Christmas.
Goals have also been difficult to come by for Dijon of late, as they have netted just once in their last four, so not only are we predicting a Brest win on Wednesday, but our prediction is for the hosts to triumph to nil.
