Brighton vs Ipswich Predictions

  • Ipswich have taken one point from three Premier League games.
  • Brighton have won three and drawn one of their four competitive matches.
  • Joao Pedro has scored in his last two appearances for Brighton.

Seagulls flying high under new management

Ipswich picked up their first Premier League point since a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in April 2002 when they drew with Fulham before the international break, but they could find themselves on the end of another defeat when they visit a Brighton side that have been excellent so far.

The Seagulls took a point from the Emirates in their final game before the international break, and before that they had won all three competitive games.

They hammered Everton and Crawley either side of a deserved last-gasp win over Manchester United, so the newly-promoted visitors are up against it on the south coast.

Pedro to contribute to comfortable home win

The Tractor Boys have faced something of a baptism of fire in the top flight, losing to both Liverpool and Manchester City before their draw with Fulham. Kieran McKenna’s side have shown glimpses of quality, but stopping Brighton could be too difficult a task.

Their two defeats were both by greater than a one-goal margin and Brighton’s thrashing of Everton makes a -1 handicap bet look appealing, while a 2-0 correct score prediction could also be in store.

Joao Pedro appeals in the anytime goalscorer market, too. He has scored in Brighton’s last two Premier League games and has had four shots, three on target, in this period.
