For the second time in a week, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory meet to battle it out for three points in the A-League.

Brisbane Roar won that match last weekend with two late goals securing them a 3-1 win over their opponents and ensuring that their opening day loss to Melbourne City was forgotten. The season has only just begun of course but Brisbane currently sit in third position with three points.

Melbourne Victory would’ve hoped to get off to a winning start to the new season in an effort to put their previous campaign behind them. But that opening day defeat means they currently sit bottom of the league and will have to pick themselves up again to try and overcome The Roar this weekend.

In truth, the match last weekend between these two was quite tight with Brisbane scoring twice late on to grab the win and things easily could’ve gone the other way.
