Bristol Rovers are having a season they wouldn’t have dared to dream of. They were relegated to the Conference a couple of seasons ago, but managed to bounce back straight away to re-enter League Two in the summer.

Many thought that a mid-table finish was the best they could hope for, but here were are with under ten games left and they sit in the automatic promotion spots towards the top of League Two.

Bristol Rovers come into this game on the back of a five match winning streak and with just goal difference separating them from 4th placed Plymouth, so they need to keep this run going if they are to open any sort of a lead over them.

Cambridge are having a decent season as well. They have managed to pick up 54 points so far, already surpassing last season’s total by three points. They are only five points adrift of a playoff spot in League Two as well, so their season is by no means over just yet.

The visitors form has started to dip a bit recently though, with only two of their last five outings resulting in a win. Away from home they have lost three, drawn two, and won one of their last six matches, which isn’t good when you are coming up against a home side who have won eight of their last nine on home turf and haven’t lost since the middle of November.

Bristol Rovers home form is exceptional, and odds of 4/5 for a home win on Friday look incredibly good value considering their home record. I’m going for a 2-1 correct score prediction at 15/2 as well.
