Bromley vs Chorley Predictions
- Chorley are winless in their last 14 league games
- Chorley have lost 11 of their last 14 league games
- Bromley score 1.95 goals per game at home
Bromley in danger of their season ending with a whimper
When Bromley started their season unbeaten in their opening 13 league games, winning eight of those games, many predicted a fruitful season for this weekends home side. However, since then they have won just 6 league games in 25 league outings. Their recent form has been atrocious, picking up just 2 points in 9 games, with two draws and seven losses cementing them as the team with the worst form.
The one positive Bromley have going for them is their goalscoring ability, and home is where they have been fruitful in front of goal. They have scored 37 goals in their 19 home games averaging 1.95 goals per game however their defence hasn’t been as tight as they would want. They have conceded on average 1.37 goals per game on home soil.
Chorley resigned to their fate
If Bromley have been struggling then Chorley’s season has been nothing short of a nightmare. They are winless in their last 14 league games, drawing three and losing 11. They currently sit rock bottom of the table with just 26 points from their 38 league games this season. Away from home they have also been awful, winning just once on the road all season and picking up 12 points in 19 outings.
Goals have been a problem for the visitors, they have scored just 18 goals in 19 away games this season averaging 0.95 per game. Whilst that’s not the worst tally in the world they haven’t been able to keep them out at the other end. They concede 1.84 goals per game on average away from home this season and have kept just 4 away clean sheets this season.
Bromley to get back to winning ways
Whilst Bromley have been awful, they are still a far superior side to their opponents this weekend. Chorley have lost their last two away games to nil, losing 1-0 to Ebbsfleet and 2-0 to Torquay. Based on that we think the home side will win with the game ending with three or fewer goals. On the correct score front, we see Bromley flexing their attacking prowess and getting the job done with a 2-0 victory.
