Cadiz vs Tenerife Predictions, Betting Tips and Match Previews

Prior to last weekend’s loss against Barcelona B, Cadiz were looking like frontrunners for a place in the play-offs, especially after they got the better of Zaragoza on home soil. However, after losing out in their last match, Álvaro Cervera’s men are clinging onto sixth place by the skin of their teeth. With several other teams in with a chance of making the play-offs, the hosts need to win this fixture.

Tenerife are fractionally too far back to challenge for the play-offs, so this is essentially a meaningless fixture for them. The visitors come into this fixture having lost six of their seven games away against top-eight teams, while they’re without a win against such opposition on the road this season. What’s more, they’ve failed to score in five of those and have conceded a worrying total of 14 goals.

Cadiz aren’t often the highest scorers on their own patch, but this is an excellent opportunity for them to improve their goal difference, an opportunity that they’re expected to grab with both hands.
