  • Each of Reims’ last five matches on home soil have ended all-square.
  • Metz have only lost two of their last seven matches on the road.

Reims to continue drawing sequence

Reims have been the draw specialists in Ligue 1 over recent weeks, as seven of their last 10 games have finished all-square, including each of their last five at the Stade Auguste-Delaune.

David Guion’s side are certainly hard to beat, as they are on an eight-game unbeaten run in the league, with their last top-flight defeat on home soil coming way back in November.

By contrast, Metz’ form has dipped of late, with four defeats from their last five games seemingly ending their hopes of securing European qualification.

However, despite their recent struggles, Frederic Antonetti’s team remain hard to beat on their travels, losing just two of their last seven away games in Ligue 1.

Metz have accumulated more points on the road (23) then they have at home this season (19), recording notable victories at the likes of Lyon and Montpellier along the way.

Les Grenats also have an impressive recent record against Reims, as they are unbeaten in the last five competitive meetings between the two sides, a run that dates back to 2012.

At first glance many would predict a Reims win on Sunday, but given the hosts knack of drawing, coupled with Metz being better on the road then they are at home, we are predicting the match to end all-square.
