Celtic hoping to make impression in front of home fans

Celtic began their Champions League campaign on the back foot with defeat to Feyenoord last month but they can make their mark in Group E with a win over Lazio on Wednesday.

The Bhoys were beaten 2-0 in Rotterdam on matchday one of the Champions League but they were down to nine men as of the 68th minute at De Kuip.

Losing to Feyenoord was no disgrace and Celtic fans will know it is on home soil where they can make the biggest impact in Europe’s premier club competition.

Lazio’s struggles continue under Sarri

Lazio nicked a point off Atletico Madrid in their opener at the Stadio Olimpico but they had to rely on a 95th-minute header from goalkeeper Ivan Provedel to secure the 1-1 draw.

And it has not been an easy ride for Lazio in Serie A this season with the club having picked up just two wins from their first seven matches, drawing one and losing four.

Maurizio Sarri’s side do not look like the same team that finished as runners-up in Serie A last season and Celtic are worth chancing in the draw-no-bet market.

As for a correct score prediction, both teams have scored in four of Lazio’s last six encounters, so a bet on a 2-1 win for Celtic could be the way to go.
