Juventude Have It All To Play For

Juventude breathed fresh life into their battle against relegation by beating Internacional 2-1 in midweek, meaning they lie three points from safety with eight games to play.

Jair Ventura’s side really do appear to be hitting form at the right time. They are unbeaten in three, but they do need to halt a seven game winless run on the road.

Goals, though, have been at a premium. So although they are predicted to win, it may not be by a big margin.

Chapecoense All But Down

Anything other than a victory for Chapecoense will consign them to relegation, and even that relies on other teams slipping up.

They have won only one of their 31 league games this season and sit 21 points from safety with only seven games remaining.

A sudden upturn in form is unlikely, especially against a side with so much to play for, and although they have being regularly finding the back of the net, a narrow defeat looks likely, so a 2-1 Juventude win is my prediction
