Chievo vs Sampdoria Predictions

This weekend marks Chievo’s last home game of the season, while it could be their final home match in Serie A for quite some time. The hosts are already relegated to Serie B, while they are wrapping up a dismal season over the course of the next week. Will they be able to sign off with a win for their home support, or are the Gialloblu going to disappoint once again? They take on Sampdoria this weekend, with the visitors looking to finish off a mixed season on a high.

Chievo have been one of the worst Serie A sides in recent years, as they are bottom of the table with just 15 points from 36 games. Almost a third of those points have come post-relegation for the hosts, as they were in dismal form when results mattered. Despite a mini-revival after relegation, the hosts are back to their old ways, having lost their last two matches to nil.
