- Eupen have not scored in their lats four meetings with Brugge.

Champions too strong to suffer Eupen upset
Champions Club Brugge have been given a kind start to their title defence with a visit from a Eupen side who are in turmoil again.
Last year’s lofty ambitions to get into Europe are long forgotten now their Qatari owners have turned off the money tap with both budgets and targets scaled back for 2021-22.
De Pandas have been able to hang on to a few key players such as ex-Swansea defender Jordi Amat, but they are unlikely to be good enough to stop the Blauw-Zwart juggernaut.
Club Brugge have already banked one piece of silverware this season with a 3-2 win over their chief competitors for the title last season Genk in the super cup.
Teenage goalkeeper Senne Lammens turned in a man-of-the-match display as understudy to the injured Simon Mignolet, but Philippe Clement’s side were too string for their rivals again.
We fully expect the hosts to win Sunday’s game at a canter and possibly by the same score that they did in last season’s meeting – 3-0.
Brugge’s Dutch duo of Noa Lang and Bas Dost have picked up in pre-season where they left off last term and can propel Clement’s champions to a win with over 2.5 goals in the game.
We love this play because at least three goals have been scored in five of the last six Club Brugge games and in 68% of their matches last season.
