Czech Republic Hitting The Target

World Cup qualifying has been a bit of a mixed bag for Czech Republic, but they can still grab second place in Group E if they pick up a predicted win and Wales lose to Belgium.

Jaroslav Šilhavý’s side are already guaranteed a play-off spot due to their performance in the Nations League, and after hammering Kuwait 7-0 on Thursday, they are expected to pick a third straight win.

The Czechs have racked up 11 goals in their last three matches, conceding just two in the process, and have not lost in four previous meetings with Estonia.

Estonia’s Defensive Woes

Estonia may have won three games in a row over the summer, but two of them came in the Baltic Cup and their only victory in their last six outings was against Group E’s bottom side Belarus.

They have, in fact, lost 12 of their last 16 World Cup and European qualifying matches, including a 3-1 defeat to Belgium on Thursday.

Thomas Häberli’s are unlikely to find form in this one, especially with nothing to play for in terms of group position, so I predict they will slip to a 3-0 defeat.
