Danes to outclass Israel again

Denmark have won all four of previous meetings against Israel without conceding a goal and Kasper Hjulmand’s side can extend that record in Copenhagen this week.

A late Jonas Wind goal spared the blushes of a much changed Denmark line-up away to the Faroe Islands on Saturday, but that result did maintain a perfect win and clean sheet record for the Euro 2020 semi-finalists in Group F.

Israel are enjoying a decent qualifying campaign and sit five points behind the Danes in second after their tremendous 5-2 weekend success at home to Austria, though Willibald Ruttensteiner’s side are likely to find themselves outclassed here at Parken Stadium, just as they were when losing 0-2 to Hjulmand’s charges in Tel-Aviv six months ago.

Israel have won three of their last four away trips, but those victories have been against weak opposition in the shape of Moldova, Montenegro and Faroe Islands. The visitors have lost without scoring against the likes Portugal, Czech Republic and Poland on their travels over the last two years and we’re confident they’ll suffer a similar fate this Tuesday.
