Dijon vs Metz Predictions
- Under 2.5 goals have been produced in three of Dijon’s last five matches
- Under 2.5 goals have been produced in three of Metz’s last four matches
- Metz’s last two away games have ended goalless and Dijon have failed to score in three of their last five matches
Potential anticlimax on the line in Dijon
Despite Dijon beating Nice and ending their losing streak, they then followed that result up with a 5-1 defeat away at Rennes. Metz haven’t won any of their last six matches and appear to have gone on holiday since securing their Ligue 1 status for another season. With Dijon already relegated and Metz seemingly unmotivated, this weekend’s clash could turn out to be a drab affair.
Metz and Dijon played out a 1-1 draw when they last met back in November and we could easily see the pair playing out another lowing scoring stalemate on Sunday. Under 2.5 goals have been produced in three of Dijon’s last five matches as well as in three of Metz’s last four outings, which adds further weight to our prediction for a low-scoring game this weekend.
Dijon have failed to score in three of their last five matches and Metz’s last two away games have both ended goalless, so don’t be surprised if both teams keep a clean sheet as this game isn’t expected to be end-to-end or action=packed.
We’re confident that under 2.5 goals will be produced when these two sides meet on Sunday and we have predicted a final scoreline of 0-0. Both teams lack motivation and goals so a 0-0 draw is the most obvious choice this weekend.
