Doncaster vs Blackpool Betting Tips & Predictions

Darren Ferguson absolutely slammed his Doncaster side on Friday after they were thrashed 4-1 by Colchester, branding his team an embarrassment. This was their 6th straight defeat in League One and they are now without a win in 14 matches in the league.

11 of these 14 matches have been defeats, so it’s unsurprising that they are way down the pecking order in the table in 22nd position. Three points separates them from safety, and with Blackpool in that all important safe spot a win by more than one goal for Doncaster would see them leapfrog their opponents.

However, Blackpool have shown a marked improvement recently. They drew at home to Bury on Friday to follow one from their 2-1 win at Crewe last weekend, and they have avoided defeat in three of their last six outings in League One.

A win on Monday would allow them to put some breathing room between them and the relegation zone, and they could even move up to 19th position depending on Fleetwood’s result.

Considering Doncaster’s recent awful form and the fact that they have lost ten of their last 11 games I think the improving Blackpool have a great chance. Doncaster aren’t even any better on home turf either, with five of their last six at home ending in defeat as well.

Odds of 8/11 for a Blackpool Win or Draw Double Chance look excellent value for money, and I’m backing that along with a 1-0 win for the visitors at 17/2.
