Doncaster vs Cambridge United Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in three of Doncaster’s last four home games.
  • Both teams have scored in all six of Cambridge United’s away league games.
  • Both teams have scored in the last four Cambridge United games.

Rovers’ rollercoaster to continue

Doncaster fans have felt like they have been on a rollercoaster when watching Richie Wellens’ side in recent weeks and they could be in for another bumpy ride on Tuesday night against Cambridge.

Rovers picked up a much-needed win at home to Cheltenham on Saturday, but made hard work for themselves after cruising into a 3-0 lead. They could be in for a tough night from a U’s side that have scored in their last 19 away games.
The Yellows are not in great form right now, but they had avoided defeat in their first three October fixtures before a red card scuppered their chances of a fourth point in a row at Shrewsbury on Saturday. In Wes Hoolahan, Mark Bonner’s men have one of the best creators at this level in their ranks and should keep their scoring sequence going against a Rovers team with no clean sheet to show from their last seven games.

2-2 draws not uncommon for Yellows

Both teams to score looks s a great option here based on both teams’ recent results and we will take it in preference to any of the three options in the match betting.
Although Doncaster have won four of their last five at the Keepmoat Stadium, they weer hanging on at the end against Cheltenham – a team a mere three points better off than the U’s having played a game more.

The correct score bet that looks best suited to these clubs is 2-2 because Cambridge have twice seen their games finish this way in October while five of Doncaster’s last nine results have been within one goal of the outcome.
